An enjoyable Friday walk from the RSPB visitors centre at Sidlesham to Church Norton on and back produced Reed Buntings, Reed Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, Linnets, plenty of Buzzards, Skylarks, Chiffchaffs,  Meadow Pipits, a Firecrest and some great Blackcaps. Plenty of Red Breasted Mergansers on the sea at Norton too. At Medmerry through the caravan park, a few more Meadow Pipits, a big flock c.100 of Linnets and a Yellow Wagtail over, no sign of the Black Redstart at Greenlease for me though.
