With a general dearth of anything interesting bird-wise locally (butterflies 1, birds 0 at the moment), the family headed off to East Anglia. From Friday afternoon to Sunday lunchtime we totalled:

Red-Spotted Bluethroat,
Temminck's Stint,
Black Kite (the Wrentham escape but what a bird!),
Turtle Doves,
Small Heath,
Small Copper &
Green-Veined Whites as just the highlights...slightly better than Sussex then at the moment!
