Raven-Bring the Hammer Down
A fairly surreal and somewhat great experience at Church Norton today when one of the pair of Ravens that have been present for a while now decided he wanted to get a closer look at me. He flew from 30 yards away at head height right towards me, cronking away-I could literally see down his throat! Passed to my right no more that two feet away, super moment, pity I didn't take a picture that would have been some shot!
Apart from that, very, very quiet with just a few Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers & Blackcaps about and dipped the Black Redstart at Park Farm too.
